Vinod Prakash Sharma Received Gujar Mal Modi Award

Vinod Prakash Sharma, renowned international Scientist, received Gujar Mal Modi Award for Innovation Science and Technology 2013. He received this award for his outstanding research malaria and borne diseases. Vinod Sharma received this award at Shri Sathya Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Along with silver shield he received cash price of Rs.2.7 lakhs. In the memory of Late.Rai Bahadur Gujar Mal Modi this award will be given.

Pandit Basavaraj Rajguru Award achieved by Rajiv Taranath
Rajiv Taranath, Sarod Player, belongs to Mysore. For 2013, he was selected for Pandit Basavaraj Rajguru Award.  This was announced by Pandit Basavaraj Rajguru National Memorial Trust which was located at Dharwad. For Young Artiste Award, Anubrata Chatterjee, Tabla Player belongs to Kolkata and Kaushik Aithal belongs to Bangalore, Hindustani classical Vocalist had chosen. Presentation ceremony will happen on 24th August at Srijana Auditorium.


 UAE got Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award

UAE achieved two awards. One is 4th CMO Asia Awards for excellent in branding and Marketing and 4th Asia’s Best Employers Brand Award.  World Brand Congress hosts CMO Asia Awards for excellent in branding and Marketing Award. World HRD congress and Employer branding institute hosts 4th Asia’s Best Employers Brand Award.

STPI Mohali Exports crossed Rs.2000 crores

Mohali is the Tier – II City. Milestone for this city is STPI exports have crossed Rs.2000 crores as stated by Anil Joshi Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister. In 2011-12 exports were Rs.1942.82 crores and in 2012-13 exports has crossed Rs.2000 crores and received to Rs.2143.70 crores.

Rohan Bopanna and Roger Vasselin lost semis

Rhan Bopanna (India) and Edouard Roger Vaseelin (French) lost the match against Marc Lopez and Marcel Granollers in semi-finals. They have to play 3 sets. Out of which result has not achieved in two sets. In one set Marc Lopez and Marcel Granollers won the match.

Great Risk due to Prediabetic

Institute of Medicine (IOM) has made a study on obesity in children and Adolescent. Report has stated that Obesity in the children and Adolescent increasing due to junk foods. Obese pre diabetic adolescents have great risk of sleep apnea, hypertension, Joint problems, developing bone. Good health seen on the people who take less junk food.    Children eat junk food more frequently. Try to avoid junk foods. Instead of junk foods eat fruits.

DPR submitted by RITES regarding water ways

Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES) made a study on waterways between Bangladesh and India. DPR (Detail Project Report) Submitted by RITES. Kishore Ambuly, Transport Department Secretary, has stated that study has made to create new inland water transport between Gomati and Howrah rivers in the state with Meghna and Titas Rivers of the neighbouring country. For smooth movement of barges the river will have navigation.

4425 Cameras collected by Dilish

Dilish parekh a photo journalist. Earlier he collected 2634 cameras a created world record. Now he had broken his own Guinness book world record by collecting 4425 Cameras. Almost all the cameras were antique cameras. This was the result of 25 years afford.  Major brands are Linofs, Zeiss, Kodaks, Nikons, Canons, Rolliflexes, and Leicas.

2015 President for CAETS is Baldev Raj

2015 President for CAETS (International council of Academies of Engineering and Technologies Sciences) is Baldev Raj. He is the first Indian to achieve this status. Previously he acted as IGCAR (Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research) director.
